VETLYNA
A parish of more than 1000 souls existed here before W.W.II. The Poles expelled the Ukrainian population and blew up the tserkva with explosives*. Today only a pile of stone and mortar remains, where once a proud tserkva stood.

*Tserkva was blown up around 1950 by WOP (borderguard troops), per Stanislaw Krycinski's "Cerkwie w Bieszczadach", 1995
