Village names, personal names, languages and terminology can vary across countries and periods. Modern navigation may provide today's name, while the source itself remains unchanged.
Old contact and travel information may be obsolete.
Addresses, organizations, lodging, links and practical information preserved on historical pages should not automatically be assumed current.

Use more than one path.
The same material may be meaningful by village, person, event, year or subject. Modern LEMKO.org increasingly provides several routes to the same preserved source.
