Only old linden trees and a large wooden cross mark the spot where at one time the tserkva stood. The tserkva was torched soon after the Ukrainians blew up the local police station, complete with six officers, as a measure of terminating the cruel treatment of the Ukrainian population by the police. The Polish policemen are buried on the church property which is used as a cemetery.
