RIPNYK
Legend says that the community was started by Cossacks, captured by the Polish army. In 1882 a sobriety society was established in the parish. The same year the owners of the local pubs hired someone to burn down the tserkva in reprisal. The parish counted almost 1500 souls in Ripnyk and the surrounding countryside. The tserkva is now used by Polish Roman Catholics.
