St. Demetrius, the Great Martyr

 CHORNA
The tserkva has been used as a Polish kostel since 1951. Even though the structure is of three chamber, log construction, it features only one small dome. The columns supporting the roof structure are unique and not seen anywhere else. Prior to W.W.II, the parish in Chorna, which included a tserkva in Chorna Dolishnya, served some 2500 Ukrainian Catholics of Byzantine rite.
